Welcome to Sun 'N' Sound, located in Montauk on eastern Long Island. Our waterfront Montauk hotels on the beach offer the comforts of home with the convenience of hotel services.

Our waterfront property, which overlooks tranquil Block Island Sound is just a short walk to the Montauk Harbor, sport fishing charters, and local restaurants. Ocean beaches are within biking distance, and the Hamptons is just minutes by car.

We offer 35 units all with full kitchens. Most units have sliding glass doors which open onto private decks overlooking magnificent waterviews.

Full hotel housekeeping service is available. Our 20' by 40' pool is surrounded by a spacious patio with lounge chairs and tables. Rooms are equipped with color cable TV with HBO.

It is such a Beautiful place. The "Sunsets" are the most BEAUTIFUL I have ever seen in my Life. It's Clean and Comfortable. I would Love to be there again this Summer.

Because of the wedding season in September we were unable to find a hotel for the 3days we wanted. I called the commerce dept in Montauk and was given several hotels that had the dates available. However there wasn't too many available. We decided to try this one on the harbor overlooking Block Island which was perfect. It had a small kitchen and was great. We were able to walk to the resturants and the shops. It was not too crowded and was perfect for us. The rooms were clean but the lighting in the bathroom could have been a little brighter but it's a minor detail compare to the view.

Recently, my wife and I stayed at the Sun N Sound during August 2011 for a short mini getaway.This was the first time we stayed at the Sun N Sound, so we really didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly suprised to say the least. The room we stayed in was spaceous,clean and comfortable. It had a cathedral ceiling, skylites and what seemed like a new air conditioner,which worked beatifully.The bed was very comfortable,and the bathroom very clean. The room we stayed in also overlooked the pool area, also clean and nice, and we had a view of the Block Island Sound.They also have rooms directly on the Block Island Sound. Overall we had a very nice and pleasant stay there and look forward to staying there again. And I highly recommend the Sun N Sound. PS the price was very reasonable too.

Just got home from Montauk Sun and Sound, very impressed, the pictures do not do it justice. The rooms were immaculate, the service was great. I stayed there with my 2 children and it is a very family friendly hotel. Definitely will be back next year.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The rooms are wonderful, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone - plan to head back again!
